James

Hi! I’m James and I am the support manager at Adventure Care. I love the outdoors and enjoy spending time bushwalking, camping, snorkelling or even getting my hands dirty in the garden. I am passionate about sharing these experiences with other people because I believe the most fun is had when experiences are shared with others.

When I’m not out and about or busy working, I like to relax in the couch with my two dogs and play some video games or chess. I like to think of myself as a relaxed, caring and selfless person who aims to experience everything life has to offer.

Everyone around me calls me Bella, unless I am in trouble from my parents, then it’s Isabella.

My passion for playing sport and being active is something that has been part of my personality since very young. So, if you ever want to run around, kick a ball or do something fun, I will never hesitate. However, if it is cold or rainy outside I am always down to watch a movie or do some board games, We could also put on our gum boots & raincoat on and enjoy the rain.

I play AFL every weekend and fill in for netball teams when needed. So if you want to learn or teach me a thing or or two I would love that.

Having worked for the Department of Education since 2019 across the Re-engagement, Inclusion and Wellbeing spaces, I have gained invaluable experience in supporting people with various needs.

I am a generous and kind-hearted person that loves meeting new faces, watching movies or playing games on my computer.

I am a semi-professional basketball player, which keeps me busy! I am always active and love solving puzzles.

Ever since I was young I have stuck with the mindset of focusing on the solution instead of the negative. I believe positivity can change the outlook on anything and therefore can improve any situation for the best!

Hi I’m Bailey,

I’m currently studying a masters of teaching and have a bachelors degree in Psychology.

I love sports, I have played basketball and soccer for years and have coached basketball for years. I formally have refereed basketball games for an all-abilities league and commonly coached players with ASD, ADHD and ODD.

I also assist in a local church youth group in helping them to organise activities and complete tasks that they desire.

I am outgoing, sport loving, willing to learn and excited to try new things and am keen to try boxing, surfing and working out.

When I’m not studying or working, you’ll catch me volunteering at my daughter’s school or soaking up the outdoors. I love the beach, and our mummy/daughter dates. I’m all about an active life, starting my mornings at 5 am with home workouts, walks, or hikes.

I have experience in mental health, ASD, ADHD, and aged care. I love being around people. I am kind and patient, I can be the life of the party or kick back if that’s what’s required.

In my earlier years, I dedicated myself to full-time ballet studies. My study of this art form has instilled in me a love for active and adventurous living. Being naturally creative and enthusiastic, I find immense joy in spreading positivity and brightening people’s days with a smile or a laugh.

In my spare time, you’ll often find me exploring the great outdoors, particularly nature trails and beaches. I love discovering new cafes, indulging in dancing, and engaging in games for fun and relaxation. When I’m not on the move, you’ll catch me curled up with a good book, accompanied by my two dogs and my cat.

I’m currently studying for my Certificate IV Allied Health Assistance in Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy. Previously, I’ve worked with individuals in Supported Employment assistance and Independent Living Skills. This involved leading cooking groups, providing one-on-one cooking sessions, and collaborating with social groups. I’d be more than happy to share some of my expertise with you. Hey, I’m Zac!

Being a support worker is something I’m passionate about because it’s incredibly fulfilling to know I can make a difference in my participant’s lives and help them have the best days possible. I approach my role with a calm and kind demeanour, but I also have a competitive streak, especially when it comes to sports like footy and basketball. Playing these sports has been a big part of my life for as long as I can remember, and I love the thrill of the game and the camaraderie of being part of a team.

My friends often describe me as funny, loyal, and reliable, with a touch of cheekiness thrown in for good measure. When I’m not working or on the field, I enjoy spending quality time with my family and mates. Whether we’re gaming together, catching a footy match, or getting hyped up watching WWE, it’s always a blast.

I am footy mad and my experience includes currently playing division one for Sorrento. I captained the international under-17s international team. Played 4 years at Stingrays (elite pathways). I won 4 junior premierships and was best on ground and came top 10 in the MPJFL best and fairest 8 times. I am also a qualified, registered level one footy coach, so if you need some coaching I am the man.
